Description Black and white photograph of the 198th Canadian Buffs Battalion, CEF Colour Party marching into the entrance of Canterbury Cathedral to lay up the colours 24 May 1917. Colour Party: Lt Palmer, Lt Hudd, CSM Watson, Sgts Wooller and Sanders. Not seen in the photos was an escort of 40 other ranks under Captain L.A. Henderson and 40 other ranks from the East Kent Buffs.
