Description A complete set of '08 pattern beige canvas webbing as worn by Canadian troops over their tunics in WWI. Canvas has been painted. Webbing consists of shoulder straps which attach in front to five small pouches/pockets over each breast pocket and belt. On the right side of belt there are straps to hold canteen. On the left side (over left hip) there is a pouch to hold a digging implement. On back, shoulder straps cross in the centre and attach to straps at opposite hip. Backpack is also attached to straps at back.
